She is famous for her roles played as grieving mother Nora Durst in the HBO drama series The Leftovers (2014–2017) and as Gloria Burgle in the 3rd season of the FX anthology series Fargo (2017). Career
Initially, Coon worked in regional theaters. Later, she made her stage debut came in a production of Our Town after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
In addition to her debut with the Madison Repertory Theatre, Carrie Coon also appeared in four seasons with the American Players Theatre.
In 2008, Carrie Coon moved to Chicago and debuted there with a production of Bront at the Remy Bumppo Theatre Company.
For several years, Carrie Coon traveled between Chicago and Wisconsin, working on Chicago productions, Milwaukee productions, and seasons with the American Players Theatre.
